Greetings!

Well, how exciting is this? My first blog experience...don't have a clue what I'm doing. At the "urging" of my daughter, here I am. I suppose first of all, I should explain my blog title, which is subject to change due to my fuzz brain taking forever to come up with a clever name. "Miss Perfect Goddess of All Humanity" is actually a name my Dear Hubby gave me many, many, years ago. Don't be deceived into thinking it was an endearing name given to me out of pure and perfect love. It was actually in the midst of a horrible fight, of which I don't even remember the reason, but needless to say, at one point this phrase came flying out of his mouth - "Obviously not everyone can be like you - Miss Perfect Goddess of All Humanity!!!" And thus, my name was born. I actually kind of liked it and decided to keep it. It has given me great pleasure at times to be able to remind my hubby of the title he himself bestowed upon me. I carry it with great humility, never sarcasm or pride. (wink, wink) Even my friends and kids call me by this name, though I fall short of it's suggestion...well, most of the time. ;-)

So, there you have it. My name explained. I will be slow at this blogging thing, but hopefully, over time you will come to know me as a hardcore Christian woman with a wicked and warped sense of humor...a 25 yr. old trapped in a 53 yr. old body...a self-proclaimed Miss National Geographic Photographer...an undiscovered Academy Award Winning Actress/Singer...a loving wife, mother and grandmother - oh, horrors! DO NOT call me Grandmother, Grandma or Grannie! That is for old people. I am known to my grandchildren as "Sanni" (sounds like Bonny). That name is a story in itself, but I will spare you that one.

I hope to keep you entertained and interested as I post a potpourri of adventures and journeys from my life. According to Sarah (daughter) I should do this. We shall see.

  2. I gotta say, Mom, that I find the prospect of you blogging to be frightening. :-) If anyone who has anything to do with my graduation finds this blog, I'm doomed. :-)

  3. Hmmm...not sure how to take that. Just for that, I think I'll go online and find all your professors' emails so I can INVITE them to view my blog. So, you better stay on my good side. I can either "make you" or "break you", ya know? I kinda like this power play.
